Honda Civic Power Steering Rack – Repair & Exchange Service

The Honda Civic uses a modern Electric Power Steering (EPS) system which consists of a Power Steering Rack with an electric motor, Power Steering Pump and high pressure & low pressure hydraulic pipes which connect them together. The system is linked with a Steering column (shaft) which is what the steering wheel is fixed to at the user-end. When trying to identify the issues with a Power Steering Rack, it may also be useful to be aware of issues that can occur with a Power – Steering pump in order to identify whether it is actually the rack that is defective.
